I was not pleased with the office visit at all. When I arrived at my appointment 15 minutes early they informed me that my appointment had been cancelled and that they had sent a letter in the mail the prior month. I did not receive any notification of my cancelled appointment, nor did they attempt to call me to reschedule. The receptionist asked if my current address was still the same and I answered yes. Her response was well then I’m not sure why you didn’t receive notification of the cancellation. I asked why no one from their office had attempted to call me to reschedule. All she did was apologize and ask if I would be willing to see a nurse practitioner. I said yes since I was already there. In addition, I was recently married and needed to change my name and insurance information with their office (hence why I arrived at the office 15 minutes early to give me adequate time to update my information.) The receptionist was hesitant on changing the information. I had to persuade her take my new insurance information and change my last name. This is not the first time I’ve had issues with the OBGYN Associates of Erie. The last two times I have had test run in their office I have not gotten my test results back. I called their automated system which had said that there were not results available. When I had called the office and let them know that I was having problems receiving my results they said that I need to keep trying. I had tried for 2 months and called their office again letting them know that I had still not received my results. They took a message and said they would call me back. I had never heard from them. That happened twice last year. So needless to say I am switching offices.

There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. They were absolutely amazing and make others in the same field look like beginners. They're really great about taking their time with me, and they don't mind answering my questions. I've never felt like an annoyance to them no matter how many questions I have. It is so refreshing to see a provider that you can tell truly cares about their appearance. They strive to maintain a professional appearance and look their best at all times.
