Worst experience ever! You would get more empathy and a better response from a corpse. No communication about condition and treatment plan. He will push those meds for depression. Having to use him as a doc is what causes my depression.

My daughter who is schizophrenic made an appointment with this doctor. She waited 2 months for an appointment!!! She was getting seriously low on her medications. When she arrived for the appointment, the doctor refused to see her stating that he did not want her as a patient and he refused to give an explanation. His secretary was very kind and helpful and gave us some resources to check out. But, I have to wonder why Dr. Thompson became a doctor. Was it only to see patients that wouldn't be problematic for him? I mean, he specializes in treating mental illness; difficult patients go with the territory, right. "First, do no harm". And I also wonder why he didn't let her know sooner that he wouldn't see her so she could pursue other options (by now she is out of medications).

The chairs in their waiting room weren't the best but they served their purpose and I couldn't complain. They didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't need, which I really appreciated. I've been to other places that pressured me to buy stuff and it always made me very uneasy. They always take the time to listen to me. I know they really care about me and what I have to say. Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily. I felt safe under their care. I didn't doubt their motives at all.
