I had a robotic partial knee replacement by Dr. Tarlow about six weeks ago. My husband had the same procedure a year ago. We both had a very good experience. Dr. Tarlow is pleasant, answers all questions, can be reached by email for additional questions. The procedure and recovery go very smoothly and the treatment at the hospital is excellent. All in all a far superior experience that the one I had when I had a total knee replacement of the other knee three years ago. I would definitely recommend this surgeon.

I was confident that they were using the latest treatment methods. They are extremely reliable. One of the first things I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. I've never had to worry about them not being able to help me right when I need it. His staff is very knowledgeable and qualified.
Dr. Tarlow performed a knee revision surgery on me a few years ago. His expertise gave me back my life. I will always be indebted to him for that. Thank you, Dr. Tarlow.

If you are a workman’s’ comp patient, YOU DO NOT WANT THIS DOCTOR. He feels no responsibility towards you beyond cutting and sewing, is unwilling to support your needs for additional care and he will not to go to bat for you against the insurance company. The second the insurance challenges his medical opinion regarding your case, he will wash his hands of you, play ball with them, and just set you at IMM to close his relationship with you. I was shocked to realized that the IME doctor that the insurance sent me to, was more compassionate and frighteningly more generous than Dr. Tarlow. My advice is stay away from this chameleon.
