Dr. Fung would listen, yes, but then give a condescending grin and completely ignore what you were saying or even laugh at you occasionally. Both my mother and I saw her for 7 years. My mother struggles with back pain from a previous injury. Dr. Fung had previously been treating her, but then wouldn't keep her pain medication going until she came in to do a cholesterol check. REALLY? Come on. In addition, when I was experiencing symptoms akin to a flu or bronchitis, she would ignore that and try and set me up for a blood test to test my vitamin d and 12 levels. She wanted me to go every 2 weeks to get that retested even though I was within normal limits and charged me $45 each time. In my own separate appointments from my mother, she would give me personal medical information about my mother I didn't even ask for and I can only imagine this went both ways. Have you ever heard of confidentiality??? She was constantly trying to push new products on me and wanted to completely overcharge me for them. She literally does not care about the patient. All she cares about is making money. I have had great doctors and okay doctors, but she is the absolute worst.
