I have worked for Cardiologists for 26yrs and From personal experience he is amazing. My Mom. Dad and my older brother have him as their Cardioligist. I like him because he is extremely knowledgable and conveys it in a way the patient can understand. He is straight and to the point. No fluff no mess. Just Amazing.

Fred Van Dis is simply the best Doctor I have ever been to. He has a wide range of skills and expertise besides being an outstanding Cardiologist. Has gone above and beyond to make sure I get into see good specialists for treatment of medical issues not closely related to my heart problems. Extremely intelligent and personable.

Doc Van Dis is a great doctor if you have cardiac problems. He explains everything about your poroblem very well and also makes sure that you understand what is going on and the why to. He even throws in a joke or two! He is a friendly and nice doctor.

Sometimes it does take a few weeks to get in, but I trust Doctor Van Dis vwith my heart problems. Roseburg is a small town (where he practices) and their are not a lot of choices for picking out Cardiac doctors and that is part of the reason that it takes so long to get in to see Doc Van Dis or any other cardiac doctor here.

I don't go to Doc Van Dis unless my heart goes into atrial fib or tacycardia. I don't call for a visit unless I NEED to see him for my heart. But every time that I have called to get in, because my heart is out of commision, it takes 3 weeks. That means that I am in atrial fib or tacycardia with no doctors care during this whole three weeks. This is NOT Doc Van Dis problem he is a great doctor and I trust him with my heart. It is the secretaries that need to get it together.. I belive the secretaries could do better at scheduling appts And take the people that need to be in to get medical treatment sooner than three weeks. One time my heart was beating at 375 beats per minute and the secretarys made the appt for me to see him for three weeks later. This is stroke city for anybody that has a heartbeat going that fast. The secretaries need to get better at schecduling appts. It should not take three weeks to get in when your heart is out of commision. The secretaries are setting me and anybody else up for a stroke.

They also need to keep a few appts available every week for people that actually NEED to see him for medical treatment. And not just a checkup.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was so impressed with the progress that. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was easy enough to find. I would Tell My Friends about this Dr..
