Dr. Humphries was the BEST urology doctor I could have chosen. He was meticulous in detail, even shared his failures (only one) with me and to this day (20+ years later), I have never had to wear an (adult diaper) after having prostate surgery (RRP). Even though my choice to use him was not the best financially (he was out-of-network re: insurance), the bottom line cost to me was minimal. My reasoning (at the time) was even if it cost me more money, I would rather have the surgery a success than regret spending the money later and have to deal with problems years later. Although I have not seen him lately, I am assuming that his professionalism hasn't changed over the years. If you are debating, Dr. Humphries would be the direction I would still go!

Dr. Humphries did an RRP on me several years ago. His explanations, drawings, bedside manner & medical expertise were unparalleled in my successful recovery from prostate cancer. Where other men usually experience either impotence or incontinence, I survived both due to Dr. Humphries excellent skill and knowledge. I highly recommend him to treat your condition!

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. He does not listen to what your problem is. He just did a exploratory to check for stones etc with me awake. My god it was painful. He just wanted to make a BMW payment i guess. I wanted to knock him out if i had not been so weak afterwards. He should listen to the patient instead of thinking about how to earn big money from the ins.co.

This happened about five years ago. I was a young women putting myself through college at the time. I had been suffering from Bladder problems my whole life. I had been all along the East Coast trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I had heard about Dr. Humphries and that he was a specialist in diagnosing renal reflux which I thought I might have. The problem was I lived in West Virginia and my insurance only covered doctors in the state. I decided it was worth it and was just going to pay out of pocket. Two weeks prior to my appointment, I faxed over my chart with all my doctors notes and procedures I had went through and the results. I have never been spoken to so rudely by a doctor in my whole life. He keep asking me questions about when I was young and how many exact times I had UTI's. (the answer is hundreds) I could not remember what happened to me when I was 1-10 years old but it was in my chart that he did not bother to look at! He made me feel like my problems were my own fault. I asked him if he thought it might be renal reflux and he said simply no without asking me questions at all and then offered no helpful suggestions in return. He did a very painful procedure and when I went to the bathroom after, I thought I would pass out from the pain. He did not tell me at all about the pain that I would experience. I left there so depressed because I had been spoken to so rudely and given him alot of money for no help. I went to another doctor and he immediately diagnosed me with Interstitial Cystitis (a very common bladder problem). I had all the symptoms of the disease. Although there is no cure, I was finally relieved to know what had been plaguing me for so many years. Dr. Raleigh Humpries should be ashamed of the service he provides! I still dwell over this... five years later!!

Not at all, they were one of the kindest, most attentive individuals I've ever met

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments
