I also have been seen by Dr. Laurie Pollack of Duke Eye Center for nearly 10 years. I am entirely pleased by her knowledge, demeanor and professionalism! However, as others have pointed out, the check-in/check-out staff really need some training on "greeting visitors" with a smile and a genuine exchange of pleasantries as they interact with PAYING customers!

I have been seeing Dr Pollock 4-5 times over the last 10 years by now, and I always found her friendly, competent and professional. All my prescription lenses were satisfactory. I will certainly go again. The only problem I always had in the past is an exceedingly rude person at the appointment desk, every time I call. Can't figure out why that woman has to be so unpleasant. Luckily I only go once every one-two years. Perhaps she no longer works there by now!

Not at all! They were always present and attentive

Immediately! They gave me a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in
