Office staff well he might as well not have any at all. They do not answer phone and I have been told if you leave a message that there are 100's of them. They do not return your calls. Dr. Is unwilling to try new ways to help chronic migrane suffers. He is over booked under and not properly staffed. Waiting time is unacceptable expect an hour or so to wait. I hesitate to believe that the Dr. Is aware that his office is being run so poorly. He spends little time with patients unless they are new otherwise expect about 5 minutes of his time. I was personally told that I was the only patient that he could not get migranes under control but was either unwilling to try other avenue's to help me or was unable to admit he couldn't. I have heard things in this office by staff that I should never have heard or even know. I have changed Doctors and have found one that is and has gone out of their way to help me.

Dr. Ballenger and staff smoke in the office. Major privacy violations as exam doors are left open when doctor is "treating." Patient info is left up on computer screen with door open and can be seen from waiting room. Sissy , the office manager, openly discusses your info with you in the waiting area in front of other patients.

He is hard of hearing. He took me off most my medicines and tried to put me on new ones. He has his wife or some other lady working with him and she is very rude to patients. Staff act like they don't give two cents. Getting refills or call backs is your not going to get. Most the time there closed. He's not a good doctor!

I was seeing Anne Elliott for 2 years. On the morning the day of one of my follow-up appointments, I got a phone call that said Anne was no longer employed there and that I needed to reschedule. This was VERY inconvenient because I was going that day for my monthly refills and I wasn't going to be able to be seen for a month!
I finally met Dr. Ballenger and on my first visit, he spent 10 minutes with me. He didn't take any history, he didn't do ANY tests or vitals, and he took me off every medication that Anne Elliott had me on basically cold turkey. After a while into my appointment I just gave up on asking questions.
On my next visit, I spent more time with Dr. Ballenger's wife, who was the "messenger" during my appointment. (By the way...Sissy is wonderful!) I LITERALLY spent five minutes with Dr. Ballenger, he didn't lay a hand on me, or do ANY vitals. He wrote a prescription, and disappeared to an empty room/office. When I still had questions, Mrs. Ballenger had to track him down and bring him back into the room to answer them.
The thing that really bothers me is the lack of professionalism. When I call my Dr. about ANYTHING, whether it's a question about an appointment time or a refill, I deserve a phone call back that day or at least first thing the next morning. Days to a week have gone by without a return phone call. Refills don't get refilled, and I understand I'm not the only patient you see, but at least have the common courtesy of perusing my chart before you come in to see me instead of acting like you have no idea who I am!!!
