Not at all, they were one of the kindest, most attentive individuals I've ever met

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments

Dr Burgess, his staff, and their lack of attention to details, especially when it involves healthCARE, is pathetic. Please read below...

I had been on an antidepressant for three years, because I was feeling "blah." I called on a Monday morning to have my pharmacist renew my perscription, I had a flight Friday morning out of town. Dr Burgess' staff screwed around (again) and finally let me know Thursday afternoon around 4:30pm that they would not renew my perscription without an office visit (this was after daily calls and messages by me.) I told them I would be gone just a little over a week and would set an appt. for the day after I get back. They said no!!! Really, stopping someone on antidepressants abruptly? Regardless, I have felt horrible and it has drastically affected my work and personal life. Some people even commit suicide by doing this...

Do not go to this Doctors group. The staff sucks, the office manager Heather is even more incompetent! She called a week and a half later, trying to smoth things over...Several friends of the family have experienced the same sort of things. I'm taking my complaint to the State Medical Board.

AVOID THIS GROUP AT ALL COSTS

Dr. Burgess is an amazing physician. He is a caring man, and an excellent listener, who always has his patients' best interest in mind. He has consistently been responsive to my needs, thorough with his evaluations, and "on the money" with diagnosis and follow-up care. My grandmother, my parents, and I have receive excellent and immediate medical attention from Dr. Burgess and the qualified staff at First Charlotte Physicians. I confidently recommend him to everyone I know in need of an internist, and feel extremely fortunate to have him as my primary doctor.
