They either didn't read my information or didn't pay any attention to it. Even though they had my information right in front of them. I had a very sudden change in vision. This is why I needed to come to see them. I was examined by his technician who did a routine check. I was charged extra for the exam to determine what my new prescription should be. The tech said" is it better this way or that way." That's it. She then told me that my prescription had not changed----BUT I CAN NOT SEE! When I finally got in to see the Doctor he briefly listened to me, but quickly downplayed everything I said. He told me that I should hold things that I am reading further away from me. I am back in college going for a masters. I can not read the text books comfortably. I told him this. I asked if lasik surgery was a possiblity; he told me to wait until I am on Medicare and get cataracts. Needless to say, we are not a good match. I was examined by a technician with - what 12 to 18 months of training, and was marginalized by a Doctor who is only interested in getting me out of the door!
