Dr. Sussman treated my premature daughter in the 1980's. When she was 4 she started having strange throwing up episodes. He said come in tomorrow. He examined her and suspected a brain tumor right away. He called in a favor to a neurologist and Rachel was seen that afternoon and admitted to NYU Medical Center and treated for a Medulloblastoma. Rachel is 34 now, has residual brain damage but is living on her own in Nanuet NY receiving extensive support from NY State. I believe if Dr. Sussman had not suspected the tumor Rachel would not be the happy childhood brain tumor survivor she is today. He is a wonderful pediatrician!
