Dr. Katz is professional and gets down to business. He treats the symptoms and always finds the correct remedies. Having been seen multiple times by Dr. Katz during different stages in my life, I can plainly say that he is genuinely interested in helping the patient feel the best they can. Maryann, his secretary always returns calls in a prompt manner. Even though I am spotty with my continued participation, Dr. Katz always seems to know exactly how to treat me during my current situations.

I can't comment on his Psychiatrist ability because i never even saw him. I sat in the waiting room for a full 45 minutes before i had to knock on his door that said "Do Not Disturb" to see him sitting at his desk on his computer. Not once did he get up to see if anyone was waiting in the waiting room, and i saw a CCTV in his room that connects to the waiting room. My appointment was at 1220 and i had called ahead to inform him that because of traffic i would be 5 minutes late. Then after I spoke to him he told me that he didn't see me on the camera, it is not a very big waiting room and i was there with my boyfriend. It was extremely unprofessional and his answer to my situation was to try and reschedule. Why should i go out of my way to see this "Professional" if he's not going to schedule me while I'm there, or even see me since he didn't come out of his room to see if anyone was waiting for him. The other people who shared an office space with him were nice and helpful, but he didn't seem to care that i wasted 45 minutes waiting for him, lost money from my job because i needed to clock out, and didn't even get the help i went there to get. Like i said, it was extremely unprofessional and appalling.

Dr. Katz and his staff made me feel completely comfortable. His whole staff was attentive and bent over backwards with any requests I had (scheduling appointments, etc) Dr. Katz helped me work through every aspect and detail of my issue during every visit. He took the extra time to answer every question I had fully and honestly. I left feeling a sense of trust with Dr. Katz – this is not something that you find with most professionals in this field. Without a second thought, I would recommend him to others.

Dr. Katz is by far one of the best I've ever seen in the field. As a mental health professional who has refered many clients to Dr. Katz it is obvious that he has been exceeding his clients' expectations for many years. Dr. Katz is extremely reliable. Individuals that I refer tell me that he makes them feel like they are his only client and felt very respected. He has been easy to reach in an emergency and answered my calls immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on him to always be there for my clients.
