I have been going to Dr. Maggio for 15 years, and in the last few his office has devolved into a total mess. Their hours are a joke, and it is virtually impossible to see the MD (rather than a NP) without having to wait for over a month. I have had to wait up to 45 minutes, regardless of calling in to check on their backlog first. I have been told that my call to find out my lab results and talk to someone would not be returned, period, regardless of the fact that I have an appointment scheduled. It is the office staff, however, that is really horrendous. They do not care one bit about the patients, and were rude when I advised them that I would be looking for a new GP. When I advise Dr. Maggio of my frustrations, he suggests that I learn to manage my stress levels better. I will be doing so, by finding a new GP ASAP. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS ONE, IT IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE.

I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. I was able to relax during my appointment here. Everyone makes sure you are comfortable and at ease. One of the first things I noticed about this business was how many different areas of the building were handicap-accessible. I have been to other places where I couldn't tell how someone in a wheelchair could even enter, but they were able to accommodate people with all different needs. They had a couple of interesting magazines, but their selection wasn't very impressive. They are very supportive in all ways. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them.

Dr Maggio is really quite personable and kind; if he can't come right to the phone, someone will. Quality of life and quality of care are more than just words in this practice, and he does his best to allay the patient's fears. For the first time in a long time, I have felt like I'm genuinely being looked after and listened to. They helped me find answers to questions I've had for ages, and now I can take my life back.
