They're really great about taking their time with me, and they don't mind answering my questions. I've never felt like an annoyance to them no matter how many questions I have. I don't know of anywhere else that would've taken better care of me. I had a great experience. They are always prepared for my appointment and remember everything about me. I considered their waiting area chairs to be pretty comfortable. I didn't mind waiting at all. Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily.

Dr Levit i is very caring . His practice is clean and his staff is professional. I highly recommend him for general and cosmetic procedures. I new Manhattan practice is a bit more convenient for me but it is not as big as this Brooklyn office.

Stay away from Dr. Levit's laser if you don't want to be a burn victim!
Here's a true story from a friend: (who is willing to testify about truth of story)
On May 20th, 2013, my friend had a consultation with Dr. Eyal Levit at his Brooklyn, NY offices about red matting that appeared on a small area towards the far end of her left cheek and a hint of red matting on her right cheek. He diagnosed her with mild Rosacea on her cheeks and eczema on her chin and suggested she use Revale cream (later research revealed that it is an anti-aging product, NOT prescribed for Rosacea/blood vessels) to soothe the rosacea and Elidel for the eczema. She also asked him his opinion about laser treatment.
He handed her a binder listing 3 or more lasers, each treating a different condition. He then introduced the names LS & GM (full names redacted) as the technicians that were to do the actual procedure with Dr. Levit in a supervisory role. To her inquiry as to whether they were licensed he responded “sure”.
Dr. Levit further assured her that when she has the consultation with Mr. S. and Ms. M. -’the best in the business’, they will experiment with different lasers on small areas of her face (spot checks) using different settings. She was then to return two weeks later at which point the reaction of her skin to the laser procedure would be apparent and together the trio (Dr. Levit, Ms. M. and Mr. S.) would decide as to the safest laser and most appropriate setting to use.
She was instructed by Ms. M. to use Biopelle and Tensage ointments & serums to prepare her skin for the laser treatment, which she did.

On her way out of the office she asked Zoya (the office manager) if Mr. S. and Ms. M. are in fact licensed and her answer was a firm “sure.”

The following week my friend visited the doctor due to irritation caused by the lotion Revale and to further discuss her medical condition and the upcoming laser procedure.

On July 20, 2013, she arrived to the aforementioned laser consultation whereby laser was to be applied to small patches of her skin to determine the best course of action. Ms. M. informed her that she and Mr. S. would be using the Coultouch Varia 1064 nm laser and Veingoh radio frequency.

She was shocked and dismayed when Mr. S. began applying the laser to her face without first doing a spot check. My friend insisted in no uncertain terms that he must do a spot check before proceeding with her whole face. At her insistence, he did a spot check, and she was immediately told “it’s ok, we can proceed.” She again insisted that protocol is to wait a two to four weeks to ensure that the setting and the laser agree with her skin and pigmentation. Mr. S. and Ms. M. said that she is ready to go ahead with the treatment, assuring her to expect some redness which will disappear in a couple of hours.

When she got home, her face swelled to abnormal proportions, her skin began blistering and burning. Her cheeks swelled, leaving her unable to open her eyes and her skin burning unbearably. She called Ms. M. and described to her what was transpiring, she was in horrible pain. Ms. M. replied that this was normal and she instructed my friend to apply the products that she sold her. When my friend followed her instructions, her face became an inferno, incredibly red, itchy and painful. My friend sent Ms. M. pictures of her blistering skin and deformed face (will provide pictures upon request) and she advised my friend to buy triple antibiotics. My friend complied but there was no relief whatsoever.
My friend demanded that she contact Dr. Levit immediately, informing her that we have a major emergency. She contacted the doctor who called my friend's pharmacy and prescribed steroids for the swelling. He instructed her to apply a thin layer of Vaseline and should stay away from any products that Ms. M. had sold her.

• Doctor Levit was to be present at the consultation and the subsequent treatment: HE WAS NOT.

• Rosacea & Eczema are medical conditions legally requiring the presence of a "physician, or a nurse practitioner supervised by a physician, who is licensed by the New York State Department of Education" (look up "Aurora Decision NYS DOS"): NONE WAS.

• The people performing the procedure, Ms. M. & Mr. S., are neither physicians nor Nurse practitioners, they are in fact salespeople for cosmetics & Laser equipment companies, respectively. They are UNLICENSED & UNQUALIFIED and performed the procedure UNSUPERVISED by a physician.

• My friend had questioned Dr. Levit several times as to whether Ms. M. & Mr. S. were in fact licensed and he informed her each time that they indeed were. The office manager Zoya confirmed their being licensed: THEY ARE NOT.

• At the initial consultation Dr. Levit boasted of the many types of laser equipment at his disposal each targeting a specific application: There was but one working unit. In actuality there was an additional Laser unit in the office that’s application most fit my friend's condition, Dr. Levit later confessed that that unit was inoperative and too costly to repair.

• At the initial consultation Dr. Levit directed that there be an initial consultive laser treatment to determine the appropriate parameters to be employed at the procedure two weeks later, by using spot checks to see how the skin reacts and heals: PROCEDURE WAS RUSHED WITHOUT APPROPRIATE PRECAUTIONS, taking place in the same session as spot checks.

My friend's face resembled a horrible burn victim for almost three months. This botched procedure has left her with the visual impairment of two fire red cheeks, the physical pain of a constant burning sensation and the emotional distress of always being aware of a scarred, blotchy and rash-like face

Dr. Levit is a rare, talented and courageous man. He saved my mother's toe from a strange melanoma, when all others wanted to amputate. My mother is a dancer and that was most devastating. Dr. Levit is thorough, optimistic and a very hard worker. His staff is courteous and professional, as well. My family and I are so grateful to have found Dr. Levit. He is a gift to those who cross his path.
