Avoid completely. The doctor, who is evidentially the head of cardiology at St Peters, was extremely unprofessional and actually childish. After a three day hospitalization and his staff scheduling a procedure he basically threw the patient out of the hospital. His staff and associates had been very attentive and professional at the hospital. After a test they informed the patient needed a catherization and prepped the patient for a procedure the next day. The next day he came into the room, said "why are you here", and said that the procedure was unnecessary. When questioned as to why we had been told this was needed and why, his response was that it was scheduled by a PA and the PA read the results incorrectly and the test that indicated the problem was "not very accurate". When questioned about the changes in the patient's condition he became very defensive, insulting, and highly unprofessional. As a surgeon, he can be rude but as the chief of cardiology that is completely unacceptable. We will be looking for a new group and possibly a different hospital. This man should have no interaction with patients let alone be in charge of a department .

They really go above and beyond to make me feel special. I've never been anywhere that seems to care more about their clients than here. They were easy to reach in an emergency. When I called they answered right away and I was so relieved to hear a friendly voice. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. What made my experience a lot more comfortable was the doctor's amazing bedside manner. I've never had a provider be so friendly and welcoming!

Getting an appointment at this office wasn't too difficult, as my regular cardiologist intervened on my behalf due to severe heart condition that could not wait to be assessed. Dr. Martinelli performed my cardiac catheterization in 2008 and was part of the special team that helped me make treatment decisions. Their staff was wonderful and very professional. I highly recommend Dr. Martinelli for cardiac procedures.
