Horrible experience. Explained my sensitivity to medications before procedure. Dr Cantor completely disregarded my wishes and loaded me up with an array of drugs, including versed, fentanyl, propofol, ketamine (3 doses), and 3 other drugs to then counteract the effects of these drugs. This was a 15 minute in-office procedure. Oh and I weigh 100lbs. I ended up in the ER with a resting heart rate of 120bpm. There was nothing in the surgery report or anesthesia report to justify or explain why I was given so many different drugs. When I asked Dr Cantor "why" his response was smug and unempathetic. I have had a handful of procedures done in the past and never had a reaction to anesthesia. Dr Cantor gave me enough medication that day to tranquilize a farm animal. Doctors don't always know best.
They gave about the same level of care as others I have been to for the same problem. I never have to worry about them overbooking appointments. They definitely believe in quality over quantity here and it is much appreciated. They were very qualified and knowledgeable. I could tell that they've been doing their job well for quite a while. There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit. I appreciated that they didn't have that typical elevator music on.
