The office receptionist questioned my Gold Aetna Card. She should have know that I was in network. She said "don't be surprised when you get the bill." Gwen, started the exam and didn't ask or even realize I had contacts in.
She then proceed to quiz me on my prescription. New patients should be asked to bring their former records with them. I requested to see Dr. Jacobs, who came in and asked "what's the problem?". When I mentioned the Aetna card he said "well, I don't know anything about that stuff" -his staff surely should know. I decided to find another doctor and an office which cares for the patient.
