Dr. Benjamin Chu is the most respected, knowledgeable and attentive doctor in his field. I have been in his care for twenty years and could not trust another psychiatrist as much. He amazes me with his grasp of psychiatric disorders and his uncanny intuitive nature. Dr. Chu is always up-to-date with the latest studies and medication as well. His straight-forwardness and "it is what it is" attitude is evident in his direct eye contact and displays his honest and compassionate nature. He has never led me astray and always offers common sense solutions to my perceived larger than life problems. I could not recommend him more highly.

The staff was a great help but I was seeing Dr. Benjamin Chu in the group and cannot believe all that I was put through with him. I only saw him for a couple months but was insulted during each visit telling me each time that I should have been diagnosed with a mental disorder when I was 19 because I had a child at 19 and also kept telling me over and over again that I must have had a bad child hood because of having a child at the age of 19. He was rude and confrontational during the visits. he is very negligent when it comes to his record keeping since I brought up two medications that he prescribed to me 3 weeks prior and he said he never prescribed them. I was astounded that he had no records or recollection of prescribing me these medications that I went straight to Walgreens to get a print out and prove it to him. Obviously I have switched psychiatrists.
