Was so lucky to be referred to this doctor for my baby, after having a difficult birth at a local NJ hospital, where they kept saying they did not know why he had a high blood pressure.Doctor F saw us right on time for our visit, and found out his problem very quickly doing the Heart ultrasound himself, and sent us that same morning to the big hospital in New York where he works, where they treated my baby with new medications and were able to save him.I was surprised to see how quick and efficient and correctly he was able to find out the problem, when the same tests in the first hospital took an hour each time.My childs kidney specialist explained to me that was why she sends her patients there, and I am grateful for that.

I have been a patient of Dr Fernandes since I was born in 1991,actually ever since he diagnosed my heart condition before I was born, and have stayed with him ever since.My heart repair has been so good that I have no restrictions. Obviously I was first carried to his office by my parents, but now I am old enough to drive to my annual heart check up by myself. He has been one of the most skilled and caring Doctor I have ever come across,and is known to be one of the best in the area,and my parents and me have always had the highest regard for him.I know Pediatric doctors can see us upto age 21 , but I am hoping I can continue with him for much longer.

This doctor is very unperson-able and not professional at all. He wouldn't even shake my husbands hand when we first walked in or even introduce himself. He cut me off when I was answering his questions and told me to wait to ask questions about my 3 month old daughter until he was done repeating himself. He never even came back in to tell me any of the results from her EKG. I would NOT recommend this doctor.
