I would not recommend Dr. Korbey to anyone. I was a patient of his for about 3 years, seeing him at least a dozen times. Dr. Korbey is a business man first, a doctor second. The doctor will have you do plenty of tests and you never get a follow up call for the results. You have to come in for a revisit. For a physical he will order lab work at the appointment ( instead of beforehand to review at the appt) then you have to come back in for a revisit to review the results with him. He says he does this because he does not get paid to review the results otherwise. So even if the results are perfectly fine, you have to take time off work, go to the appointment, pay a few hundred dollars for him to sit with you for 5 minutes to tell you that. This doctor has made his office very profitable by having his own lab, dietitian, walk in clinic and laser removal. And he will make it known to you that these services are available. I believe these things make him more prone to recommend things because he benefits from the profit. For example he would recommend I have laser hair removal on my chest and would constantly prescribe medicine because he makes a cut. The dietitian was even recommended to me when I am well in the normal range of weight and other health factors. I once went in for a physical and was asked about different health concerns and I spoke to them, I was later billed for 2 separate appointments because Dr. Korbey said we talked about multiple things and he prescribed medicine so it’s considered another appointment. Crazy!

But the single handed most unprofessional thing with this doctor is the lack of following up on tests that he orders. For example I had an ultrasound done and had his standard follow up revisit and I brought up the ultrasound and he acted like he didn’t even know what I was talking about. He didn’t even realize I went for the ultrasound and was there to discuss it. He did not have the results and had to then go ask the hospital for them( a good doctor would have followed up with the hospital after). The constant need for revisits to have to doctor do anything for you is annoying and takes a chunk out of your pocket. Do not go to this doctor. My new doctor prints out a summary of each appointment and directions upon checkout, and their nurse calls a few days after tests are done to discuss the results and what the doctor would like me to do. That is what a doctor should do. Typical wait is at least 45 minutes in the office after your scheduled appointment.
