Dr. Seiff did an excellent job with my surgery. I was a difficult case because my spinal cord was compressed for 3 years. My recovery was slow at first but is picking up after 7 weeks. My provider was worker's comp. They made my recovery harder than it should have been by not providing the proper recovery time after surgery and taking too long on approving post surgery medications. I had a 4 level fusion and decompression. I was moved from the hospital 48 hours after surgery(mistake). I was moved to a recovery hospital which wanted me to complete 4 hours of PT and OT each day. It took me 2 weeks just to stand up again.(another mistake from WC). If not for my wife and lawyer fighting to get me into a proper facility, I would have ended up in an old folks home suffering from lack of attention....... Care Meridian in Las Vegas was the best place for me and they are responsible for my recovery. They were attentive, offered appropriate PT and OT, and had great food. I came in on a Monday on a gurney and walked out on Friday 3 weeks after my surgery.

I was treated for a C2 fracture with an Adontoid Screw Fixation. I received excellent care from the office staff, the MD Dr Seiff and the hospital staff at the time of my surgery. I would recommend this physician to any looking for excellent care.

I was experiencing severe sciatic pain in my right buttocks. I was only able to sleep in blocks of 2 hours or less and only on my right side or flat on my back. The extreme pain left me unable to work. My condition was originally diagnosed as a bulging disk and I was scheduled for a Diskectomy. During the scheduled procedure, Dr. Seiff discovered that I actually had an Acute Herniated Disc and performed the scheduled Diskectomy & also a Partial Laminectomy. I awoke with no pain. I am now able to sleep an any position and sleep through the night. Dr. Seiff's staff kept me & my wife informed during every step of the procedure. I was able to return to work with no restrictions. I had an excellent experience with both Dr. Seiff and Sunrise Hospital. I would & have recommended Dr. Seiff to other people suffering from spine pain issues. John Montgomery

I had an unexpected emergency surgery performed on my back while in Las Vegas for work. I'm exceptionally fortunate for Dr. Seiff and his entire staff! They all have been nothing but wonderful and took into consideration that I don't live in NV. Thank you!!

Dr. Seiff was excellent. In an emergency situation he was thorough and skillful. At the same time he was willing to explain all procedures and answer all the questions asked regarding treatments and outcomes.

I have had two very successful operations with Dr. Michael Seiff, MD. The out come of both was remarkable. All the pain, numbness and cramps disappeared following both procedures. This Doctor is a very rare find in that he is not only brilliant in his surgery, but in his "bedside manner". Dr. Seiff's PA does outstanding work, she really knows what she is doing and very personable also. The Doctor's staff, was one office that I could surely get things done that had to be done, as I was in terrible pain before both of my surgery. I remember asking the Doctor to please write me a script for a wheelchair. His reply was "I do not know how to do one, I have never done one." That impressed me to no end, a Spine and Brain Doctor that never had to get a wheelchair for any of his patients WOW! I was a little disappointed in my Medicare Supplement plan. When I would call them each one would give me a different version of what was taking the referral so long to process. The hospital was very efficient and caring. I feel I got very good treatment, especially with the Physical Therapy Department. I would certainly recommend this Doctor to do surgery to anyone, in my opinion he is the best there is.

Dr. Michael Seiff was the second neurosurgeon I met with after learning I might be a candidate for brain surgery (posterior fossa decompression) due to a chiari malformation. The idea of brain surgery is terrifying but Dr. Seiff explained the procedure in depth, in medical terms and in English so that I fully understood what was happening and why. He took as much time as needed to fully answer questions my husband and I had about my condition and the surgery required, as well as explain the risks. Dr. Seiff is very down to earth and does not act superior or undermine your pain. I have dealt with a lot of doctors during the long time it took to diagnose my condition, Dr. Seiff immediately made us feel comfortable and instilled trust with his knowledge and bedside manner. Dr. Seiff performed my surgery and follow-up with the same great attitude. I believe Dr. Seiff saved my life. A majority of my pre-operative symptoms are gone. My family was also very pleased with Dr. Seiff when he spoke with them immediately after my surgery.
