Both her and her husband are unequivocal quacks. They ran the clinic at MCI in the late 80s early 90's. Where they took in to the psychology ward teens who were "troubled" now mind you these kids were not like the kids of today. I think maybe we had 2 kids on the floor that had real drug problems. These kids were rebellious. However, to make as much money as they could they packed that ward with kids, and pumped us full for drugs. My grandparents had to sue my parents and the quisons and get what writ of habious corpious to even get me to get a phone call. I still did not get out of that place. It was only when my mother agreed that I had "changed" that I could leave. I was 6 months away from my 17 birthday. Had I known then that legally I could have left I would have. I had a counselor tell me in group therapy that I was sexually taunting him. I told quison they said I was a liar. I trIed to run away and got a severe allergic reaction. These people will destroy your child.

I am writing this to prevent damage to other children. Emmeline Quiason was my Pediatric Psychiatrist from the age of 12-17 years old. My parents were uneducated about psychiatry and completely trusted her. This woman put me on so many medications throughout my treatment with her, and many at one time. I remember in 1 full day of medication at one point, I was taking 17 pills. That is INSANE. This dr is an overmedicating pill lover. She was nice, and seemed caring at the time, but now, I have a hard time remember ANY of my childhood. I was in bed by 5pm every night at the ages of 12-17. I gained over 95lbs in 3 months because of the mixture of medications she put me on. I was over 195lbs at the age of 12!!! Before I went to her, I was less than 100lbs! I was diagnosed with bipolar, and never was referred to a psychologist. I have since been to therapists, and to one psychiatrist who all concur that my diagnosis was false. I was being a rebellious teenager/pre-teen that was just needing guidance. Now I do need anti-depressants because of the damage that those psychiatric drugs have done to my brain for overdosing my body, pretty much. You, I'm sure could right this off as an angry or bitter ex-patient, but please be careful with your child's well-being. Look up the malpractice lawsuits this dr has had, and PLEASE remember to do your research, as I wish my parents had. This dr seems caring and loving, and may have good intentions, but she is a drug pusher that does not know where to stop, in my experience. I truly hope that if you are reading this, that you find the right dr for you and that they can help you in your needs for your child!

I've already told my friends and family about the fantastic experience I had there. I was left in the appointment room by myself, but they eventually returned. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. One thing I love about them, is that they're always willing to ask for other qualified professionals' advice when they don't have an answer for my question. I never have to worry about them giving me a wrong answer just because they weren't willing to ask for help. They always discouraged all of my negative behaviors in a respectful way. They always have my best interest in mind.
