Rude just plain rude. I was told to come in at 9:00 am when I arrived a young woman said, you were told to be here 8:30 so you can wait if someone else is late or a no show we will take you. I told her no I was told 9:00 she says our policy is you be here 20 minutes early. I repeated and I was told 9:00. I took the paper work and sat down ,then I thought I don’t have to take this I gave the papers back and I left. I found a dentist on Fort Caroline Rd the staff was kind friendly really nice people. Duval Dental may have good doctors if you can stomach the drama queen at the front desk.

I am honestly just appalled by the lack of customer service,

I have went to Dr, Daryl for a while now, but sadly I am looking for a new provider.

The front office staff has no customer service attributes and quite frankly I'd rather just take my business else.

Who ran Charolotte out the door?

The staff there are great and Dr. Smith is the most gentle dentist that I have ever been to, period. Never ,ever had any issues.
If you ever do, ask for Charlotte, she is awesome.

They have some of the cleanest dental equipment I have ever seen. They make an extra effort to make sure they only use the best for their patients. They really go above and beyond to make me feel special. I've never been anywhere that seems to care more about their clients than here. I loved how gentle and careful they were while they were flossing my teeth. My gums didn't bleed at all. They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. I never have to worry about them overbooking appointments. They definitely believe in quality over quantity here and it is much appreciated.

I took my daughter in for a tooth cleaning, and was surprised that Dr. Smith didn't introduce himself or even talk to me. She needed a tooth pulled but any explanation was left up to the hygienist. Since I knew she would be nervous, I asked whether they could give her something before hand, and whether they had nitrous oxide just in case. They called me in a prescription for her to take an hour before hand, and we could ask for nitrous if we felt she needed it.

The day of the extraction, I gave her one pill but it didn't seem to help her, so I called and they had me give her another before her appointment. When we got there, she went back but was still scared. I heard her crying and went to the back, and she said they gave her a third pill to calm her down. I asked for the nitrous (in this day and age there is NO need for anyone to be this upset) and was told they were out and wouldn't get any until next week.

Dr. Smith came back, gave her two more pills to calm her down, but still hadn't even made eye contact with me or talked to me at that point- or made any effort to explain anything to me. Had he not already numbed her we would have left, but since we were already so far into the procedure we toughed it out. He was cordial to my daughter, and gave her more shots to numb her. He then pulled the tooth, put gauze in her mouth, and walked out of the room.

His lack of even acknowledging my presence, coupled with the fact that she had to go through the experience being afraid was really upsetting. I was reassured several times by the hygienist that it was ok that she had that much medicine to calm her down, but I was still worried about giving her narcotics for pain. When I called the pharmacist, he even said that it was a lot for someone to take.

The staff is always nice on the phone and in person, but Dr. Smith will never get another penny of my money.
