I feel that Dr. Cox is a little drill happy. I'm in my mid 20s and up until visiting him had only ever had 1 cavity in my life. He found several "weak areas" and decided they needed drilling. I also had sealants put on my molars as a child that he decided needed to be removed and treated as cavities. My husband also apparently needed to have a crown replaced, even though it was only a few years old. He said he likes to address problems before they get worse, but that's the first time I've ever heard that and feel almost as if he's doing procedures to make money instead of treat patients. I know other folks who like him, I just don't get the feeling that my best interest is what is being considered.
