I and both of my children went through Dr. Peavy for braces. For my daughter, he told me that her teeth would align and he would wait to put on braces. They did and she was only in braces a year. We had relatively short periods with little pain (I was expecting a lot based on what others had told me of the braces experience). Would highly recommend.
