I went for a teeth cleaning on October 11 and during the cleaning the hygienist told me I had a "small pimple" on my gum. Dr. Alvarez was called in and after an X-ray was done, he told me that I needed a re-treatment of a root canal because the tooth was infected. The root canal had been done 6 years before with a different dentist. I was sent to the billing office where they collected $508 as a deposit to have the retreatment done on October 23. When I went back for the procedure, the endodontist told me that a re-treatment wouldn't help and that since the tooth wasn't bothering me, he recommended leaving it alone. I was taken to billing and was told that my refunds are issued on the 30th or 15th of the month. I expected my refund on October 30, since it was October 23, or at the very latest, on the 15th of November. I have had to keep calling the billing department weekly to ask when my refund would be back in my bank account. Each time I called I was told that there was a waiting list of people ahead of me to get refunds and they had to follow procedure. It is now December 7, and I was told that it would be refunded today but that it would take 3-4 days to actually be put back in my account because, again, of an office procedure that they have to follow. I asked if Dr. Alvarez was available to speak to him about this "office procedure " but he wasn't in. Almost 2 months and no refund yet! What an absurd way to do business. Needless to say, I'll be looking for another dentist.

Been going for 6 years, now suddenly I'm finding another dentist. The staff has become very rude, billing issues, and have lost my trust in them.

This dentist is great! My kids really like him. His staff is friendly and you will not wait long. Our entire family goes at one time, and we are out within an hour or so. I highly recommend this Dr. Alvarez.

They didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't need, which I really appreciated. I've been to other places that pressured me to buy stuff and it always made me very uneasy. I feel like they go out of their way to accommodate my schedule. I always get the appointment time I want. They were so nice and professional and even called me to remind me about my upcoming appointment. They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. They have some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Putting their customers first is definitely a priority here and it shows.
