After the cleaning procedure (i.e., 'prophy' or 'phrophylaxis') he refused to examine my teeth, even though I made an appointment to "see" him, as well for the cleaning. I told him that I had a twelve history of chronic refractory osteomyelitis, i.e., a non-healing infection of the bone. I reminded him of this. He said that that did not make any difference.

I then paid for his exam and the cleaning, went home and reported him to the local Dental Society.
