Dr Hurst is on the sex offender registry for sexual offenses against children - he should not have a professional license and should not ever be able to treat children.

There are two problems with this provider. First, I learned something a month after my children and I went there. One of the partners had been convicted as a pedophile with boys. He was seeking the courts to allow him to work with children again. This was published in the Sumter Daily Item, so it can be googled. The second problem was the billing. Both of my daughters went on the same day and the same time. Yet, the billing person did not code anything for one of my daughters. I received a bill for almost $300. I was very upset. I emailed, but got no response. I called, and she said that sometimes, they just get busy and make mistakes. She said that they would resubmit it to my insurance company. A few months passed and I received another bill still requesting money from me. Again, they charged more for one daughter than the other and they coded it for a different insurance company. This statement threatened to send our record to the Credit Burea. I was livid that they made a mistake again in their billing. I think that they overcharge patients. Collect the money, then change the coding so that the extra charges do not show. The elderly lady was very nasty while I was showing her the errors in billing.

One thing I love about them, is that they're always willing to ask for other qualified professionals' advice when they don't have an answer for my question. I never have to worry about them giving me a wrong answer just because they weren't willing to ask for help. Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable. They have some of the cleanest dental equipment I have ever seen. They make an extra effort to make sure they only use the best for their patients. They were easy to reach in an emergency. When I called they answered right away and I was so relieved to hear a friendly voice. They were very sympathetic to my situation, and made me feel cared for. I knew that I could count on them at all times.
