My daughter has no teeth. She almost died from a very aggressive tumor at the age of 5 in 1989. After massive doses of radiation and chemotherapy she was left with blindness in the left eye, no glandular function and the need of reconstructive surgery to rebuild her tiny 5 year old facial features that stopped growing from the treatments and lost ALL her teeth . Since this time she has suffered mentally and physically from pain and side effects. At the age of 38 she has many disabilities and two years ago she had a craniotomy for reoccurring tumors on her brain and most recently radiation cyberknife for two more tumors. Today I called Daly's office because of the pain in her mouth from a large white mass, swelling of her cheekbone and discoloration and an indentation below her temple. Her primary care suggested she see a dentist for a "pan" xray because this was not normal. The girl making the appointment was very sympathetic and scheduled her for tomorrow to get the needed xray and possible biopsy. Within 10mins they called back and told me they had seen her before as a patient. I was surprised. They were kind enough to remind me of services rendered 23 years ago when they removed 26 teeth at one time. I found it hard to remember so long ago at such a dark time in our families life the actual name of one of many doctors, but they were still kind enough to remind me and read the billing. They were also kind enough to tell her she has a balance of $3000 and could not be seen until it was paid. Thanks for nothing.
