They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. The office was easy enough to find. Billing seems to be a difficult process for this office. They charge more than EOB indicated and then conveniently forgot to sign the refund check. Billed wrong insurance carrier for multiple years inspite of having verified correct carrier information. Submits for preauths against patient's wishes. Charges outgoing patients for files transferred to new dental professional.

The front desk staff (one woman in particular) did not smile and was not very friendly. She borders on rude and has ignored me for several minutes both times I have had my son there for treatment. Once, I could chalk it up to a bad day but twice, sorry. The hygienists we had were nice but my son had a different dentist both times he was there. He is special needs and I would prefer to have consistency for him. He was uncomfortable and expressed it but staff didn't seem to take him seriously. Also, they used up my 1 panoramic ex-ray yearly benefit (without telling me) and there was no need! My son went in for a repair of a tiny corner chip on a front tooth. They took bitewing ex-rays which they said they were going to do. BUT - - -I went to use the pano ex-ray benefit at my son's oral surgeon 3 months later and the claim was denied. It came back that West Shore had used up the benefit. So West Shore Dentistry, you have cost me $100 to pay for the pano ex-ray out of pocket!! I have cancelled future appointments with them and will not be going back. They perform uncessary ex-rays and bill the insurance for it, and I am treated rudely by the front desk associate. They don't take my son's pain seriously. Why should we go back???? Never again.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. I still drive all the way there from Dover, PA and my daughter, husband, and younger sister ALL go here and we LOVE Dr. Thomas Gensbigler (he is the son and the best Dr. in the practice)

I don't think I have ever been put on hold here for a long time and am so impressed with how quickly all of my questions are answered. There's nothing worse than having to wait on hold for a half an hour just to get someone to talk to you. They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance. I thought the staff was amazing; they were so friendly and helpful, and made sure I felt welcome there. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me.

Not sure about the dentist, didn't get that far. Staff was RUDE.
