I was going to Dr Test for about 3 year when my insruance changed. I never had extra charges because DR. Test accepted the amount paid by my insurance because it was in his network. I brought my new insurance card into the office and asked if they accepted my provider. I was told it was and there was no problem. A few weeks later I received a bill for over $500.00 I called the office to find that they will accept my insurance but I need to pay the diffrence he charges because my new insurance is not in his network. I was not informed of this when I asked if he accepted my new insurance. I was shocked to find when I looked over the billing from 5 monts ago he accepted $272.00 to do 2 filling paid by my insurance. I looked at a recent bill and my insurance paid the same amount to him but he wants another $177.00 above the price I asked why and the responce I got was it is what it is....I also need to take my son back 3x to redo a filling that kept falling out....If you have money you will get treated like gold there if your using your insurance and it is not the price he wants your rushed in and out.
