Dr. Williamson has been my dentist since 1982. I have found him to be without question a professional of the very highest caliber.
I consulted him the first time because I had a small cavity in a wisdom tooth, and my then-dentist had refused to fill it, saying that putting a filling in a wisdom tooth was a waste of time and money, and the tooth should be pulled. Dr. Williamson explained to me that, since it was a wisdom tooth, he couldn't promise how long the tooth might last, and that my "investment" in the filling ($35-- remember, this was 1982) might be wasted. I told him that I understood, and he went ahead with the filling. It is now 2010, and the wisdom tooth is still there, filling and all. May be one of the best $35 investments I ever made!
Dr. Williamson has been my dentist ever since, even though I now live in another city, and have a long drive to and from his office. I have found him to be unfailingly conscientious, caring, professional in demeanor and attitude --- and very, very skillful.
Anyone who has had any experience with dental insurance knows that their willingness to pay, and the amount you can expect them to pay, are changeable, and iffy, at best. As a responsible adult, I know that I am ultimately responsible for payment of the costs of dental care. If the insurance company pays, I'm pleased. Usually, though, they don't pay much, and I've learned to expect that they won't pay as much as their initial estimate.
If you want KMart prices, you'll have to go to KMart. Jeff Williamson runs a state-of-the-art facility and practice, he charges honestly for his services; and in nearly 30 years I've never had a dispute with him over the amount or terms of his fees.

I have been a patient of Dr. Williamson's for about 2 years. I was referred to him by another very satisfied patient. The women who work there are so sweet and they always make me feel welcome and well cared for. Dr Williamson is always cheerful and he always makes me feel very comfortable. I have never had an issue with my insurance not covering the services. I am very pleased with this Dentist. :)

This is absolutely the most flagrant case of underhanded trickery I have ever experienced. This dentist's business tactics are completely insulting, positively shadey, and I advise anyone who reads this review to head my warning.

Centerpointe Dental, a.k.a. Jeffrey Williamson, DDS, said they would accept and bill my insurance, and gave me a quote after they said they called my insurance to verify what would be covered. I paid my amount at the time of service (which was a lot).

Several weeks later I received a bill stating that my insurance was taking too long to pay them so I would need to make payment in full immediately. THE BILL WAS UNBELIEVABLY HIGH! I think an insurance company would be out of their mind to pay what this dentist billed for ordinary services like xrays and cleaning, so it is no wonder they didn't pay! Absolutely appalling! ...led me to believe that it would cost way less and then dropped the bomb weeks later through the mail so they didn't have to look me in the eye and somehow justify the insane dollar amount.

There are many other choices for dentistry out there, and I recommend taking the time to do some research and choose wisely. There are plenty of negative reports about this dentist that could have prevented me from a negative experience had I taken enough time to do a google search.

Dr. Williamson explained every step of every procedure. Dr. Williamson's staff is friendly and very helpful. Dr. Williamson has worked with me on insurance billing and payment plans. Dr. Williamson is the most honest and hard-working professional I have ever worked with. I trust Dr. Williamson completely and would recomment Dr. Williamson to all my friends!
