The facilities were very nice and state of the art. Office personnel and assistants were pleasant. The dentist did not even bother to introduce himself to me or address me. I was told that I had 5 cavities, peridontal disease and needed to replace 4 crowns. Total cost of $6,000.00-they wanted to replace crowns first and treat gum disease last. They said they could not clean my teeth without fully numbing me and scheduled me an appointment for 8 weeks out. Common sense would dictate to fix gum disease, cavities and then replace crowns(which were not giving me any trouble). I went to another dentist for 2nd opinion; No gum disease; No cavities; cleaned teeth for $55.00 on the spot-no deadening! -(as opposed to the $720 that was quoted for a deep clean at Modern Day Dental) I would not recommend this dental office-as dental health did not appear to be their priority.
Dr. Hopkins did an amazing job on my front teeth. I had a bike wreck when I was 8 years old and it killed my front teeth so I got root canals which later turned my teeth a greyish color. Dr hopkins put caps on both front teeth and venears(sp) on the two side teeth. I never wanted to smile before now I can't show off my teeth enough. And my insurance wouldn't cover it cause they considered it cosmetic and dr hopkins gave me a 35% discount to help me pay it. Thank thank modern day dental. my second story is about my wisdom teeth, I went to dr lander to have them taken out which was a huge mistake because he does not believe in pain medicine or dry sockets. So I was suffering for 2 weeks and finally I couldn't take the pain anymore, so I called modern day at 1pm and they had me an appt. By 2!! The nurse kelly was amazing and she packed my dry sockets and it took away 100% of the pain. I have had nothing but great experiences with modern day and I will continue to go back.
