My issues aren't with the dentists. Dr Leonoff is the one I've been seeing and he is awesome. He is a very thorough and patient person and works well with nervous patients. My issue is with the billing practices. When I first had some work done some years ago, I was told my insurance wouldn't cover it and that I would have to get a line of credit. After going through the procedure and was in the process leaving, I was told the line of credit would only be covering a 3rd of the costs. The total was $9,000.00. So now I was paying 3k to the credit line, 3k to the dentist, and still had another 3k to pay in the future when I actually got the crowns. But I can't get the crowns because I have to pay the 3k balance first.

Money has been tight, and jobs lost, yet I've paid as much as I can. years later, I still have only posts in my mouth and a total of 2,500 (between the credit line and the dentist) to pay off. They send me bills every 2 months and threaten me with little stickers claiming they will send me to collections when I don't pay them monthly. We have discussed this over the phone and in writing: I will be glad to send in monthly payments if they would send me monthly bills. And now I'm being notified that until I pay off my balance, a 5.00 monthly fee will be added to my bill.

I like my dentist, but the billing department will be forcing me to seek treatment (and the long awaited crowns) elsewhere.

Definitely! It was one of the best dental chairs I've ever been in!

Absolutely! They gave me my invoice before I had even asked for one

They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. I felt their main goal was to find more things to amount to money than what I was there for. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. The office was easy enough to find.
