I visited Shelton Dental in December, I had a full plate done for the top of my mouth. It is now February and I was eating a cheeseburger and something cracked. I believe the whole top plate cracked in half. What do I do for this situation, it has only been two mouths and I am on vacation in Ga. Need someone to get in touch with me as soon as possible. As much money as this procedure cost, my dentures should not be cracking in two months from eating a cheeseburger. My name is Samantha Miller you have my information in my file.

This is the absolute WORST place to get dentures made. When I picked them up, they were almost see transparent in places, which was a red flag, because the dentures that I had previously(I lost that set...tore the house apart but never found them...were much thicker and sturdier looking. I expressed my concerns to the dentist who advised me that if anything were to happen to them, he'd fix them free of charge. Less than a year after they were made, they literally fell apart in my mouth during my granddaughter's wake. When I called to let them know what had happened, the girl who answered the phone was apathetic and offered my no condolences, even though I had told her that this happened at my granddaughter's wake. I made the appointment and when I arrived he told me it would cost me 350.00 to fix them. He said that I must have misunderstood and that he only guarantees them for six months. I didn't have a choice, so I left my denture there and picked them back up two days later and handed over the 350.00. He had glued them back together and relined them, which was my request since they were so thin...and he replaced the two teeth I had inadvertently swallowed when the denture broke.
Now it is five months later and three teeth have already come out...in three separate incidents, eating foods that shouldn't pose any threat to the denture. I called the office and asked if I'd have to pay again, since I'm within the 6 months...the girl said that I'd have to come in for a consultation. I asked if there was any kind of policy in place regarding fixing an appliance for free...she said she didn't know and did I want the appointment because she can't speak for the dentist. I asked if I could speak to the dentist and she said he was with patients so I asked if I could get a call back. She said to me, "I'll tell him but I doubt he'll call you back". Well, she was right. He didn't call me back. I'm very frustrated at the way the patients are treated at this place. I suggest you run as fast as you can away from this place. The waiting room is filthy and they never turn on the heat or the air conditioning. There's a tv screen in there that is about the size of a computer monitor and there is nothing at all to read. The place is so off kilter that when you walk from the waiting room back to where the work is to be done, you feel like you're in a fun house...and it smells of mildew, everywhere.

They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Some of their staff was not friendly at all but some were,They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions regarding policy payments. Dissapointed with management!

I felt very safe in their care. I definitely trust them. I don't know of anywhere else that would've taken better care of me. I had a great experience. They listened closely to everything I was telling them, and showed a lot of attention to detail. I've never had to worry about them forgetting something or not reading my information correctly, which I've encountered at other places. They were very polite and helpful and made sure that I had everything I needed. I love that they never cancel their appointments last minute here. I can always count on them to be there for me.
