Definitely not! It was obvious they just wanted to make money!

Was the dental equipment clean?
Absolutely! It looked brand new

I went in for a routine cleaning, which went completely normally. They have tvs in every room though which don't work properly and yet are always on which is annoying (they did ask whether I wanted it off). They cleaned my 4 year old's teeth too without incident. They then scheduled me for a second visit to fill 2 cavities they found. They didn't discuss with me the severity of the cavity or anything about it and didn't really answer questions I had. I get minor cavities quite often, so that wasn't too big of a deal. The cavities were filled and that's when the problems started - both teeth now have large gaps where food routinely gets stuck and the upper tooth had a lip that wasn't properly shaved down. I could live with those problems, but the bottom tooth now is painful to bite down on and to floss. I've been in twice again and the first time was scheduled with another dentist who wouldn't do anything since he wasn't the one who did the original work. During the second visit, they didn't seem terribly concerned nor could they find any source. All they did was check the bite which I knew wasn't the problem. Then the dentist said she'd check with insurance to get the ok for a crown. I now have to go back a third time to hear her/the insurance decision and am planning on asking to see the head of the practice about a) the poor work done the first time and b) the failure to really do anything about it except waste my time for over a month now. I am certainly not going to let the original dentist anywhere near my mouth again and we will be switching dentists when this ordeal is over.

This office likes to charge you a $25 fee if you miss a visit. I can definitely understand that they are missing out on other money being made if you miss your appointment, but when you are calling an incorrect phone number to confirm, you would think they would offer some forgiveness. I cancelled all further appointments and will not be returning.
