I had tooth pain and an xray was taken. The dentist and staff said I did not have a cavity and to use sensodyne toothpaste. After a severe abscess developed a few weeks later, I lost the tooth. The new dentist said that if an x-ray is not taken with a 3D machine, an abscess can be missed, which is what happened in Campbell's office. They assured me I did not have a cavity, not telling me that a cavity could still be present but that they didn't have the more expensive 3D machine. A lesson learned the hard, expensive way. :(
