Please do not put your family through the trauma of an orthodontic treatment from Mr Crist. After 3 years of treatment for my teenage son, we finally had the sense to switch to a competent doctor. Despite having made complete payments for our sons treatments, Mr Crist refused to even respond to any concerns we had with the horrible results. Treatment errors included brackets falling off on the way home from his office to extreme rudeness to other doctors diagnosis of several errors in oral correction. These included teeth that were being pulled out of the bone, teeth being turned the wrong way, and rubber bands pulling teeth when they had no where to go. When confronted with these X-rays and facts, Mr Crist refused to respond or even return phone calls. Fortunately with proper care , the damage Mr Crist did will be reversed in about 2 years. This means my son had his braces on for 6 years and I paid for 2 treatments. Please don't make this same mistake. (Hide)

Terrible on so many levels. He is cheaper than other orthodontists, but you get what you pay for in this situation. Please file a complaint against him to the Board of Healing Arts in Missouri so that he does not continue to ruin other children's teeth. Our daughter has had braces on for over 3 years, and after seeking other orthodontist's opinions she will need a whole new set of braces in order to correct the problems created. Take your business elsewhere!

After spending 4.5 awful years with Crist, I had to find a real orthodontist to finish out with. Crist strung me along for half of the time making adjustments that did nothing, trying to move teeth that were attached to my jaw bone, and flirting with his staff rather than talking to me, the patient. When called out as to why I was still in braces he sent an official letter to my home, which was addressed to my sister who had been out of braces for two years by that point in time. The letter was meant to cover his you know what, but isn't very effective when sent to the wrong person. Please avoid putting your child through more pain by sending them to the worst orthodontist you could possibly find.

I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. They make sure to treat all their clients equally and without favoritism. I've always hated it when I've seen favoritism going on at other places I've visited. It's nice that it doesn't happen here. The staff was very helpful no matter how many times I called with a question or concern. They never made me feel uncomfortable for asking any question. They're always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary.
