I have been going here for years...each time I leave I'm always upset...and vow this is my last time...but just haven't taken the time to look for a new dentist and found myself with tooth pain and had to run right back here...BUT TODAY....Believe ME they didn't DISAPPOINT...I HAD Mr Dupuis standing over me while I'm in pain telling me very loudly how I've missed past appointments...how he has to pay his staff..technicians..etc...and when people don't show up for appts their left standing around...I'm asking which appointment did I miss...he says exactly...if you had written it down you'd know...OMG...My tooth is killing me and this dope wants to go on and on about missed appts...long story short...can't help me today...I will have to come back tomm for a root canal...I feel stuck...my tooth is killing me and I have to go back to this hellhole!!!

We have been looking for a new dentist within our insurance network but after reading the reviews are NOT going here! How can the rating look okay with all the Negative & Terrible reviews wonder......... We're going to go out of network & pay the money for a Great Dentist rather than roll the insurance dice with this one!

I have been going to this Dupuis Dental for almost 10 years and just had a very bad experience with developing a surgical complication after a tooth extraction and the complication is a "dry socket" which is very intense pain. I have been put on pain meds and antibiotics and have return to their dental office twice for a dental packing in my tooth without any relief of pain. I have made 4 follow-up trips back to the dentist and my last follow-up they treated me so rude and made me feel really bad said they have done all they could. On my way out, I saw Dr. Thomas Dupuis which is the owner and explain to him I am in pain and would like to speak with him and he turned his back on me and said he was with another patient and left me hanging. Please, Please, do not do any business with this dentist because they are rude, nasty, and do not really care about their patients.

Horrible Experience even the second time around.
First time my husband was 5 minutes late for a Thursday Morning appointment to have all 4 wisdom teeth pulled. He had to take 2 vacation days for this surgery. Since he was 5 minutes late they CANCELLED HIS APPT!!
We stopped going there then. Found a new dentist whom we loved. Our dentist closed their practice and moved in with Dupree's office. I was very hesitant to go back. I should have listed to my gut feeling.
I took both of my young daughters there 8 and 4. On two separate days because they could not fit us all in like our dentist could. My 8 year old had her routine cleaning first. No issues. Then I went back a week later and they said my 4 year old had 2 cavities?? We had to come back when a certain doctor would be there for my daughter. We scheduled it for 1 week later (a Tuesday in October 2013). They called my the night before and cancelled her appt. We rescheduled for the following Tuesday. They called my the day OF and CANCELLED again.
I asked what the issue was? They were very vague on the phone but I finally got it out from the receptionist that the doctor had quit and they were trying to find a new doctor. WTH! Then they asked if I could come in on Thursday (Halloween) at 5:15...NO I am not bringing my 4 year old in on Halloween at 5;15 to have her filling done. (It would probably have been cancelled anyway by them with there track record).

I knew right then I would NEVER go back. I went to a Dentist for Children and she did NOT have 2 CAVITIES!! These people are crooks. They also had billed our insurance for 2 diagnostic x-rays on my 8 year old. For know reason...she has never had any cavities and she has nothing even close to suspicious.
I would be very, very careful making an appointment with this office. If you do make sure you are checking your bills!!!

I wouldn't have even given them 1 star but it will not let you submit this review with at least that....

Luckily, We have found our favorite dentist from our prior dentist practice. He would not go to Dupree's either. He is about a half hour drive from Taylor but I TRUST HIM....

Worst dental practice ever. I chose Dupuis because he was located between work and home. I had one appointment in May 2012, a cleaning, x-rays were taken, and I spoke with the "dr" for 3 minutes. A cavity was found, so a second appointment was scheduled. The day before this appointment, I found out that I would have to work over the next day and would have to miss the appointment. I rescheduled. Before that appointment arrived, I had another work conflict, and rescheduled that appointment as well. A few days later, I received a letter stating that I was no longer welcome at the practice due to missing excessive appointments. Seriously? I had one appointment, and rescheduled a second appointment twice. It happens, it's called life. Not impressed, and thank goodness there are so many great dental practices around, I was able to find a dentist who puts patient care and wellbeing above this kind of petty crap. I'm glad I never had anything serious done here, it sounds like a house of quacks.

Absolutely not!! They never listen to customers complaints and argue with them

Yes, they said I was overreacting, and I knew I wasn't

Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable. It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all. . You can tell they want their clients to be as comfortable as possible. They were so nice and gave me a huge selection of toothbrushes and toothpastes to choose from after my appointment. They really make an extra effort to make their patients feel special.
