Dr Wilder was arrogant and completely rude. I came in to have an ultra sound done after being in the ER for bleeding during a twin pregnancy. My ultra sound turned out okay and his nurse rudely asked me "do you HAVE to see the doctor today?" I informed her that I wanted to see the doctor and find out why I was bleeding. He was very rude and started talking about abortion clinics and other unrelated items.

He treated me as though I was an inconvenience and barely tolerated my appointment which only lasted two minutes. after this treatment on what seemed like an emergency for me (we recently miscarried before this pregnancy) I called and cancelled all appointments and will be seeing a new doctor instead. I do not feel comfortable with them. With this establishment, you are just another number.

Dr.Wilder is and always will be my favorite doctor. He is very kind and always makes me feel special. I can't believe the negative feedbacks here. I've seen Dr.Wilder during my two pregnancies and one ectopic. Not once has he ever been unkind to me. Not even slightly crabby after being up all night delivering babies! He truely cares about his patients. He is very gentle, knowledgeable and totally down to earth. I would recommend him to every pregnant mom out there. He truely is a gem and I personally feel like he is part of my family!
PS. Once you take the time to get to know his staff and treat them with respect. They will give the same in return....

I wasn't impressed with the staff of their office. They were disorganized and kept forgetting that mine was a high risk identical twin pregnancy. Not only did they not welcome my questions, they dismissed them as unimportant. They ignored my concerns and my 30 week labor. I felt like they didn't really care about helping me or my babies. They ignored the birth plan written by my Perinatologist stating the twins shoud be delivered at Munson or DeVos if I went into labor before 35 weeks. As a result I wasn't monitored properly and was sent home in active labor after being "monitored" at NMH for 30 hours. I should have demanded to be transferred to a larger NICU. By the time we drove ourselves to Munson that same afternoon I needed a Stat C Section
after being ttold repeatedly bt Dr. Wilder that "I'd know it if I was in REAL labor." He REFUSED to examine me before discharging me home. Guess what, Dr. Wilder, I WAS in labor and due to your arrogance and incompetence one of my babies died 8 hours after she was born.. I never even heard back from Drs Wilder or Rider after the death of my baby.

They seemed really knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions in-depth. I understood all my options fully and they really took the time to make sure my questions were answered. I really admire them for being more than willing to ask for help from other professionals in the field when they don't have an answer to my question. They aren't even slightly arrogant, and I'm confident they always have my best interest at heart. This provider has very little helpful information available online, and what they do have is hard to find. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly.
