These guys want money. Will do anything to make it. Received a termination letter from the office after 5 years with this office. The reason from the office manager is that 'Dr. Joe could decide who he want to see! And I don't want to see anymore'. The only reason that I could think is that complained about $1000 quote for a simple treatment. Very rude and unprofessional.

I have been going to Family Smiles for about a year now and I can honestly say I no longer experience the dental anxiety I have had since childhood. They put you at ease the minute you walk in the door and every single employee goes out of their way to be warm and friendly and answer any questions that you may have. Dr. Joe is the best! He is truly professional and caring and does beautiful work. This office is unlike any other I have been in and I wanted to share this with others that may experience the same fear that I had.

The receptionists greet you as if you WERE actually family! The dental assistant was so sweet and explained everything that was going to happen before the doctor came in. Dr. Joe was very efficient and I felt absolutely NO PAIN! I didnt even need the gas (I usually depend on it for all of my dental work) They showed me my xrays on the computer so it felt like I was a part of the team, not just a patient. Love, love, love Dr. Joe and his team!!!

They were able and willing to answer every question I had. I definitely felt informed. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. Their prices were very fair. The level of care you get for the price is outstanding.

Going to the dentist has never been my favorite thing to do! But Family Smiles is a wonderful place. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Dr. Matievich is very skilled and efficient. The office is clean and seems state-of-the art, and I can't say enough great things about the great staff and Dr. Matievich!

It was very clear that they didn't take pride in their office's appearance. In fact, the office was disgusting. There is duct tape on all the hoses in the treatment rooms, Dr. Joe drops instruments and just sprays them off with water, his attitude is very cold and uncaring. He is the only doctor in the whole office and I felt that he was rushing through my appointment.
I was mildly frustrated that very few of my questions got answered. I really needed to know a lot more than what I got out of that appointment. Dr. Joe would tell me what I needed and then left it up to his staff to explain the rest. The front desk is very warm and welcoming, but it ends there.
Family Smiles puts up a good facade, but truly they are unsanitary and out to collect your money at any cost. If you miss an appointment, they will incessantly call your home and harass you.
I do NOT recommend this office and hope that OSHA takes a good look at it in the very near future.
