The nurses and nurse's aides were absolutely impeccable. I was treated with the upmost kindness and their willingness to help upped my overall healing. Dr. Sagarand the Nurse Practitioner never gave up on me and reassure me to this day that they will continue to help relieve my pain. I was never treated as a burden like most hospitals and that also helped my overall wellbeing. Dr. Lisa Ensfield broke through a barrier with me and helped me discover phobias I never knew I had. She was an extra large, long term benefit to my wellbeing. everyone treated my family and friends well, and I would suggest this clinic to anyone who suffers with chronic, long term head/neck pain.
Nurses were attentive and generally very pleasant and helful. On one occasion however I had some trouble with an IV and I am not confident the nurse gave me the correct dosage of medication. I questioned it and she ignored me. But all other nurses on my stay were excellent.
Dr. Saper was absolutely phenomenal. I never felt written off or judged because of my symptoms. I feel like he exhausted every possible idea/test/procedure to learn the best treatment plan for me. I feel indebted to him and his expertise which allowed me to find relief and answers that I have been needing for so long.
The staff has been amazing overall and very accommodating and patient with my anxiety. I really appreciate that they give you control with your treatment plan and they do not force you to do anything you are uncomfortable with. I would recommend anyone to come here.
Everyone was really amazing. They gave me lots of opportunity to explain what was happening and asked so many questions to make sure that they were reporting correctly. I was in the hospital and the only downside was I got in late and there were several other admits at the same time, so it took awhile for anything to happen and then I did not get a lot of the basic 'tour' information. Every nurse though was amazing, so was Jan, and the sanitation workers were VERY helpful. Just overall a very positive experience.
Doctor Saper is exceptional. My only negative comment would be the nursing staff. Not once not twice but, four times i stopped them from giving me the wrong medication. one example was I had brought my own samples that my Dr. at home generously gives me of the medication Amitiza. It comes in a foil packet. someone had taped a white pill to the inside of one of the packets that i know for a fact was not amitiza as amitiza is an oval jelly like capsule. Another example would be when a nurse was going to give me lasix and i told her she had the wrong patient. This nurse did go and check with someone to make sure I was right. Often i felt they were rushing which made me uneasy. I understand when it can be short staffed and things happen. Hopefully this type of experience is a rarity. Thank you Dr. Saper for fighting for us who live in chronic pain. You have given me hope again that I so desperately needed.
I was apprehensive about meeting a new doctor, staying in the hospital for an unknown length of time and relinquishing my power/control over my medical processes and plan of care. Upon meeting Dr. Saper and his team of specialists these insequirities were immediately alleviated. Their concern for my well-being and plan of care was incontestable. The doctors and nursing staff were pleasant to work with and made my stay pleasant and familial, doing what was in their power to diminish whatever irksome reactions I may have experienced with procedures and medications. I am very hopeful for the remainder of my recovery and building a more independent life for myself. I also thoroughly enjoyed the group projects and working with Jan.
