I have an out-of-state insurance policy and my claim was billed twice and not paid even though I had coverage. I received a call from Brandy and she told me that she "washed her hands" of my claim, after only two months of fighting with the insurance company. Itold her I would contact my insurance company and see what the problem was. I had communicated with Brandy a few times about my claim, and I told her that I talked to my stepdad's HR department and she told me that she would get on the phone with them and get the bill taken care of. I then received my first bill in the mail from my dentist office saying the claim was still not paid so I called them and said that I was faxing my bill to the HR department and that the HR director had been on the phone with the insurance company fighting the claim. I was then told that I had 21 days from someone to pay the bill or I would be sent to collections. It has been six months from the time of my visit and my claim has been billed twice to my insurance company and I have only received 1 bill in the mail and they want to send me to collections. Needless to say I am not very pleased with this office!!

Dr. Forbes is very friendly, but I do not like the staff! If you do not have a "clean" claim, where they bill your insurance and your insurance pays without any questions, I would not deal with them.

When I first opened the door to their office, I noticed a faint but distinctly foul odor. It wasn't unbearable, but it definitely wasn't enjoyable. I'm not always sure that they're going to work with me until they find a solution, and sometimes it seems like they're going to give up on trying to help me. I don't feel like I can always count on them. I was relieved that my gums didn't bleed very much after my appointment. I've been to other dentists that weren't gentle while they were flossing my teeth so I was nervous I would encounter that here but I didn't at all. The chairs in their waiting room weren't the best but they served their purpose and I couldn't complain. They would not leave me alone, and kept suggesting that I buy products that I felt were completely unnecessary.
