This man is an awesome doctor and a very intelligent guy. Most importantly he tells you like it is and I appreciate that so much more than a round about answer to something. Asked very good questions and got right to the issue while also trying to get to know you.

I was fat-shamed by Dr. Jamieson within the first 10 minutes of meeting him for the first time. I came to talk about pains in my shoulders. He treated me like I was born yesterday and made assumptions that indicated he didn't assume me to be very educated. He rushed me through every question he asked me. He told me not to waste my time on Chiropractic care, even at one point saying "they" make things up. Every person has the right to their opinion, but to talk to me so boldly implies you don't respect my right to self determination and therefore, my humanity. To speak to me this way after knowing me all of 10 minutes implies you aren't seeing me as an equal or deserving of dignity. You aren't seeing my care as something we collaborate on. How do you expect clients to feel empowered to take charge of their care when you treat them in such disempowering ways. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

I've been seeing Dr Jamieson for a few years now. He tends to take a holistic approach to my care, meaning that he inquires about my current life experience, diet, self percepts, and family. He doesn't hold back with information yet his advise is clear, gentle and kind. He also doesn't jump to passing out prescriptions as he doesn't believe that the pharmaceutical industry should subsidize his income, as most Dr.s take kick backs for filled prescriptions
