I woke up during my surgery and it was a very traumatizing experience. Imagine waking up while your wisdom teeth are being ripped from your head and moaning "ouch ouch ouch!" And it taking the doctor five minutes to tell the nurse to increase the medication. To make matters worse I signed a document stating what is owe after my insurance payment and I paid that amount only to receive a large bill a year later for an additional amount because they billed the procedure incorrectly. I won't be going to this doctor ever again because I am traumatized from this experience.
