Well, I switched to this dentist a year ago. While I think he is a good dentist, I think he lacks people skills. He made my 17-year-old daughter feel horrible about a few cavities that he found in her mouth. She wanted to cry. I have no doubt in his capabilites as a professional, I just wish he would try to practice a more polite and gentle "bedside manner", especially in dealing with young girls who are already struggle with self image in today's culture.

I was very pleased with my experience. As a summer visitor, I was at a loss when my crown lifted. After calling several top quality Inns in Bar Harbor I was recommended to Dr Maller. They worked me in the same day, the staff was exceptionally nice and the experience was positive in every way. I would not hestitate to revisit the office if another problem arose,.

My BEST DENTIST AWARD goes to Dr Chris Maller. As a very nervous almost dental-phobic patient, he is one of the kindest, most caring, attentive, painless dentists I have had the pleasure to deal with for almost 10 years. The same pleasure goes for dealing with his staff and hygienists. Did I mention painless? I'll say that again for you needle-phobes out there, painless!

Before him the words "pleasure" and "dentistry" were mutually exclusive.

I continuously hear him or his staff asking how I or others were "feeling" or "were we OK?", while in the chair. Very comforting to have that personal touch as it is reassuring.
