Be careful, they are cheating!! I would give negative star if I can.

My wife holds a federal blue cross blue shield basic plan, and it includes 2 times/year free dental cleaning and check up at dentist within the network. She called Tong's office to ask if he is within the network, the staff (Gina) said YES he is. My wife went there and before the check up, she asked Gina to check again whether he is within the network, she said YES again. Then my wife went in, Tong said because it is a free check up, how about with an x-ray of the teeth, it is INCLUDED. Then my wife did. After few weeks, we got the $450 bill, called blue cross blue shield, then Gina said "WE DO NOT ACCEPT YOUR INSURANCE". My wife argued with her saying that she said YES twice before she came. Then Gina said "SINCE YOU ARE NEW PATIENT WITH NO INSURANCE, WE GIVE YOU A SPECIAL DISCOUNT $99". Then my wife talked to her on phone several times, talked to Tong's wife, they keep saying the same thing. Finally we decided not to waste our time anymore and pay that $99 (supposed we do not need to pay anything!), and tell the people the story. I have a friend who had the same experience with us! (I should ask them earlier!)

So, be very careful.

One thing important is that they charge you nearly as twice as other dental office, looks they care more money than patient. They didn't take the $50 coupon which been send to my home by himself, what a joke. The statement is very complex make you very confused. I will never figured out how did them charged the fee. Be carefull and watch out your wallet.

They barely ever answer any of my questions over the phone, and I've had to make way too many appointments. One thing I don't like, is that I can't be confident that they'll work with me until they find the best solution for me. I'm always worried they're going to just settle with a solution that works. They didn't show any sort of attention to detail, which I think is very important. I was afraid they were going to miss or forget something important. They left me alone in the appointment room for quite a while. It's shocking how little they seem to care about customer service. From my experience It appears as if customers are never put first here. They care more about charging you money.

As a matter of fact, they overcharge! Be very careful to review the potential charge before they touch any of your teeth!! They charge more than what insurance company allows. So in addition to 20-50% of copay that you need to pay based on insurance company's rate, you'll also have to pay what they asked above insurance company's rate. Watch out for sharks there.
