I have been a patient of Dr. Vass for over 20 years now. I have been to several dentists over the years and have never found one I liked half as much. I like that when I have an appointment for 2:15pm (or whenever) I am getting called back at 2:15 (or earlier if I arrive early) and am out the door 15 minutes later. He doesn't over book. This also means that if you are having some kind of emergency, they can usually get you in very quickly. Often quicker than I can physically get there. In addition, I have not found a more reasonable dentist, meaning cost. I have been able to work out payments with Dr. Vass at different times when I didn't have insurance. I keep going to see him even though I don't live in the area any longer. Its that comfortable.

If I could give zero stars I would after my visit. When I arrived at my appointment I had all of the paperwork filled out as requested for new patients and sat in the dentist chair to be examined. The hygienist was looking over my teeth and asking routine questions when it came to my dental history. Four months prior I had my teeth cleaned at another dentist who I did not like, so when my new insurance year began on 8/1 I decided to try Dr. Vauss since he had such great reviews. Once the hygienist found out I had my teeth cleaned 4 months prior she panicked and told me my insurance would not cover another cleaning for 2 months. I explained that my insurance year had just started over and that I had already confirmed with my provider that I was covered for my visit. The receptionist and the hygienist both refused to see me and refused to contact my insurance company even though I was covered. This kind of service is ridiculous and a shame since the dentist seems to be very good. I was so embarrassed and upset since I took the day off from work so when I got to my car I called my insurance company and they confirmed that yes I would have been 100% covered for a cleaning and x-rays since my new year began 8/1. This simple phone call was all the office needed to do if they felt I was not covered. I will definitely take my business elsewhere and suggest anyone looking for a new dentist not waste your time at this office.

Never, they are very reliable.

They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. When I left my appointment, my mouth felt cleaner than it's ever felt. They did such a fantastic job. I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to.
