At the time of seeing her, she was not traditionally trained as a psychiatrist. The treatment ended up, in every way, to be traumatic especially the ending. Things are what they are, not how you choose to see them.
I saw Leslie Fenn in the late 80's and early '90s. It was an extremely difficult time for me. I think the best way to describe my treatment with her is to say we both did the best we could. I learned a lot about myself, and she communicated her commitment to my care and well being while maintaining clear professional boundaries. I have no doubt that now, 20 years later, she must be an outstanding practitioner. I would refer her without hesitation.
