If I could rate this a zero I would have. I am a nice person and it takes me alot to be angry with someone but Dr. Kapers should not even be in practice. Dental Spa simply means a fountain in the foyer. He bought that with the money he makes off of scamming individuals like myself. I was unfortunate enough to try him out as a new dentist because it was close to my house. My old dentist had retired. After he did my root canal/crown I was so unsatisfied that I went to a new dentist to get a cavity filled. I was in pain for a while but it was manageable. And after calling several times to not be able to be squeezed in or accomodated whatsoever, I gave up. After a few more months the pain in the tooth was no longer tolerable. I feel like my tooth is throbbing and I cannot eat on that side of the mouth. My new dentist said it was because my crown was not properly sealed and was done wrong. I was "squeezed" in- if that's what you want to call it...in a month. Yes a month to see him. And then I was called to be told the Doctor may be able to see you he may not but you can still come in. No. I want to see the doctor because I am in pain from the procedure HE did. So I rescheduled..I went in there and they told me that they would not charge me an Emergency sitting fee but I would be charged for Xrays today and then the doctor would look at my tooth. Back up....Emergency sitting fee ---waiting over a month to get a scheduled appointment should not be an EMERGENCY sitting fee. When I said that I did not feel it was right to be charged for further xrays (i had brought in my own my other dentist gave me) Dr. Kapers hygienist said I could speak with him. AFTER having me wait for an 45 minutes, the lights were turning off and every patient was gone. Dr. Kapers came into the room and treated me so rudely from the start. The way this man treated me literally shocked me. He made every effort to belittle me and was beyond rude. He said I lost my chance and walked out of the room. I left the office in tears and would not recommend Dr. Kapers to anyone. I spent close to 500 dollars out of pocket not to mention the 1500 my insurance company paid. And for what? A shoddy job for a root canal/crown and nothing but pain to show for it.
